The book is a sequel to my first novel 'INTRUSION.' It is now 7 years later (2018) Jeremy's four friends receive anonymous texts intstruting them to meet at a restaurant. They receive an envelope instructing the to go to the Mich UP in September and plan the trip. Jeremy's wife, Megan, is kidnapped in California by Russian for ransom. The FBI investigates to rescue her. The FBI agent in charge in Chicago reviews cold case of a Dr. Cavallini who disappeared for a year. The fiends travel to the UP hoping Jermey will appear after disappearing into space in 2011. The FBI conducts surveillance on the group. Dr. Cavallini appears in a fish of white light and explains he was taken to space, too. He tells the boys they will see Jeremy who appears in a white flash a few days later. He says he was taken through a wormhole to a parallel universe to work on projects. He says he must return to space and is not sure when he will return. Before he leaves, he heals Paul's brain tumor and Carl's burn on he hand.

Douglas F. Sainsbury was born and raised in Chicago’s west suburbs of Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois. He attended and graduated from Oak Park-River Forest High School. He then attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a BA degree in English. Following college, Doug received a Juris Doctor from Illinois Institute of Technology’s Kent Law School.

Doug spent a tour in the U. S. Army, including fourteen months in Vietnam.

After military service, Doug spent forty years in the consumer credit and banking industries, the last nine years in the capacity of Managing Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Doug retired to Southern California in 2011 to be closer to his children and to pursue his lifelong dream of writing fiction. Intrusion is his first novel.
